Mobile devices enable ubiquitous access to information, preserving individualization, collaboration, and continuity. Advances on mobile devices make them suitable not only for learning, but also for assessment of students with special needs. Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing and dyslexic students can take advantages of specialized features of mobile devices such as rich visual content, vibrating alert and flashing display. In this paper, a wireless framework is proposed, which is based on standardized wireless technologies and public key cryptography, to secure the mobile assessment procedure. Moreover, personalization techniques are applied in order to enable the adjustment of the test questions and the appearance of screens to student's needs.
