Control of the run-up of a synchronous machine fed by a voltage source inverter with a de link capacitor
Τίτλος:Control of the run-up of a synchronous machine fed by a voltage source inverter with a de link capacitor; Die Steuerung des Anlaufverhaltens eines Spannungsrichtermotors mit Zwischenkreiskondensator
A voltage-inverter-fed synchronous motor contains in its inverter voltage valves, i.e. thyristors with antiparallel diodes. They allow, due to their commutating abilities, higher speeds than motors with an inverter containing current valves, i.e. just thyristors. A disadvantage is a starting procedure which is complicated first by the diodes and second by the condenser in the dc link. But there are control strategies which compensate these disadvantages. This paper describes necessary control procedures for a safe run-up of the motor. Digital simulation and results of an experimental drive system verify the calculated values.
