Στη σημερινή εποχή οι πολιτιστικοί οργανισμοί στα πλαίσια των αρμοδιοτήτων τους, αναλαμβάνουν πολιτιστικές δράσεις σε διαφόρους τομείς. Πιο συγκεκριμένα αναλύονται οι αρμοδιότητες και το έργο των Δημοτικών βιβλιοθηκών, οι οποίες συμβάλλουν στην πολιτιστική ανάπτυξη των τοπικών κοινωνιών και βασίζονται στο υψηλό επίπεδο ενδιαφέροντος, γνώσεων αλλά και προβληματισμών του κοινού. Επιπλέον, αναλύεται η σημασία της πολιτιστικής επικοινωνίας για τη βιωσιμότητα ενός πολιτιστικού οργανισμού, τα χαρακτηριστικά τους, οι κατηγορίες των πολιτιστικών δραστηριοτήτων και οι τρόποι επικοινωνίας του οργανισμού με το κοινό. Έτσι, οι πολιτιστικοί οργανισμοί στοχεύουν στη διατήρηση και τη συνέχιση της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς σε θέματα παιδείας, άθλησης, διαφόρων εκδηλώσεων, προβολής έργων τέχνης, ιστορίας, περιβάλλοντος και θρησκείας. Ιδιαίτερη αναφορά γίνεται στη Δημοτική Βιβλιοθήκη Καλλιθέας, όπου με ερωτηματολόγιο που δόθηκε σε χρήστες και σε προσωπικό της Βιβλιοθήκης, ερευνήθηκε η επικοινωνιακή πολιτική της στον τομέα του πολιτισμού. Τέλος, μέσα από την έρευνα εξετάστηκε ο σκοπός και ο τρόπος λειτουργίας της, οι αρμοδιότητες, οι πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις και οι τρόποι επικοινωνίας με το κοινόIn recent times, the cultural organizations, as part of their responsibilities, they have undertaken cultural actions in different sectors. More specifically, in this study are analyzed the responsibilities and the project of Municipal libraries, which contribute to the cultural development of local societies as they are based on a combination of a high degree of knowledge, interest and inquiringness of the public. Furthermore, it is analyzed the importance of cultural communication for the viability of a cultural organization, their characteristics, the different types of cultural activities and the variety of communication ways between the organization and the public. So, the cultural organizations aim to preserve the cultural heritage including education, athletics, folklore art and a variety of events, history, environment and religion. Special mention is made in the Municipal Library of Kallithea, where by questionnaire, which was given to users and to the staff of Library, it was investigated her communication policy in the civilization’s sector. Finally, through this study it was examined the aim and the variety of her operation, the responsibilities, the cultural events and the ways of communication with the public.
