For the first time, at the Department of Electronics of the Technological Educational Institution (TEI) of Athens, a systematic and profound reformation of the course curriculum was realized. What is presented here is a short report of the design activities and of the parameters that have been taken into consideration. Evaluation issues are also addressed. Last, a number of activities are proposed, required for ensuring the maximum possible effectiveness of the curriculum in the learning process.
