This article attempts to give a quick analysis on the MIS and how this supports and assists public authorities in the effective management of EU-funded programmes. It includes a quick review of the 3rd Community Support Framework (CSF) . Furthermore it has a simple presentation on the concept of Operational Plan for the Regions co-funder by the European Union, the document that approved by the Commission to implement a Community support framework and comprising a consistent set of priorities comprising multiannual measures and which may be implemented through resource to one or more Funds and to one or more of the other existing financial instruments.
