heal.abstract | The department of electronic engineering of the Technological Educational Institution (T.E.I.) of Athens is in the process of incorporating the use of modern tools based on new technologies in the teaching procedures applied in the academic environment. This work presents how computers and software applications enhance the method of teaching the core module of "Power Electronics" which is considered of high importance for graduates of the field. The educational portal and software simulations support this effort while electronic examinations evaluate the level of knowledge assimilation. Features, advantages, practices and first results of their implementation are presented and discussed. | en |
