heal.abstract	Μια από τις σημαντικότερες εργασίες στο περιβάλλον των βιβλιοθηκών είναι η περιγραφική επεξεργασία τεκμηρίων και αντίστοιχα η προτυποποίηση των εγγραφών που δημιουργούνται. Αυτή η εργασία βοηθά τους χρήστες στην ταχύτερη και ευκολότερη αναζήτηση και ανάκτηση πληροφοριών. Μέσα σε αυτό πλαίσιο, σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η τεκμηρίωση των επιστημονικών άρθρων του 14ου Συνεδρίου Ακαδημαϊκών Βιβλιοθηκών με τη χρήση προτύπων κωδικοποίησης βιβλιογραφικών δεδομένων. Για την τεκμηρίωση των άρθρων χρησιμοποιήθηκαν οι Αγγλο- Αμερικάνικοι Κανόνες Καταλογογράφησης και το πρότυπο MARC21 (Machine Readable Cataloguing). Επιπλέον, αναφέρονται τα εργαλεία που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν για την τυποποίηση των εγγραφών που δημιουργήθηκαν (π.χ. Dewey Decimal Classification DDC, Library of Congress Subject Heading –LCSH, κλπ.). Πιο συγκεκριμένα, γίνεται αναφορά στα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά των προτύπων και έπειτα παρουσιάζονται οι αναλυτικές εγγραφές των άρθρων. Φάνηκε ότι η διαδικασία απαιτεί ιδιαίτερη προσοχή στην εισαγωγή των δεδομένων για να μην πλήττεται η αξιοπιστία και η τυποποίησή τους.	el
heal.abstract	One of the most important tasks in the library domain is the descriptive processing of the items and respectively the standardization of the entries that are created. This task helps users in finding and retrieving information in a more efficient and faster way. In this context, the scope of the specific thesis is the documentation of the articles that were presented at the 14th Conference of Academic Libraries with the employment of bibliographic data encoding standards. For the documentation of the articles, the Anglo-American Cataloging Rules and the MARC21 (Machine Readable Cataloguing) Standard were employed. Additionally, the tools that were used for the standardization of the entries, which were created, are referred (i.e. Dewey Decimal Classification -DDC, Library of Congress Subject Headings –LCSH, etc.). More specifically, the basic characteristics of the standards are mentioned and afterward, the analytic entries of the articles are presented. It appeared that the process requires special attention to the input of the data in order not to compromise its reliability and standardization.	en
