heal.abstract	Tourism is Greece’s most important and stable basis of future growth. For regions that meet the requirements for such growth, the financial exploitation of their tourism is the only way for their financial survival. The Loutraki region in Pella county, with its warm natural springs, can be transformed into a modern health spa aimed at tourists with the assistance of private investment. Proper infra structure, supply of new services and the use of publicity and promotion techniques can lead to the desirable result. Health tourism is intended not only for the elderly but for people of all ages. Despite the lack of adequate and reliable statistics (length of stay, costs of tourism, etc.) for the specific region, there is an attempt to depict the current situation in a reliable way. This recommended business plan sets out the perspectives for the springs’ business financial utilization.	en
