heal.abstract	Municipality of Melivia is a seaside place in the east side of Larisa’s County. In order to examine its perspectives for tourist growth, we conducted a research in two chronological intervals: a) the first in October 2006, using the personal interview method and b) the second in October 2007 (one year afterwards), using the questionnaire method. The area was divided in ‘mountainous’ and ‘low’ (near the sea). The region still has not been developed completely for tourists, having its natural environment intact, particularly in the mountain region, allowing for interventions and exploitations with completed planning. Forms of tourism and activities that can be developed in the region are: a) Ecotourism, b) Forest Tourism, c) Adventure Tourism, d) Hunting tourism and e) Agricultural tourism. For all these categories, we tried to make our proposals in order to contribute to the tourist development of the particular area.	en
