heal.abstract	Η αδιπονεκτίνη εκφράζεται και εκκρίνεται αποκλειστικά από τα ώριμα λιποκύτταρα. Η αδιπονεκτίνη αποτε-λεί ένα σημαντικό ρυθμιστικό παράγοντα τι υ μ ετο Πολισμού, ενώ παράλληλα συμμετέχει σε μηχανισμούς που αναστέλλουν την αθηρωμάτωση, τη φλεγμονή κ .ον κυτταρικό πολλαπλασιασμό. Με βάση τα επιδημιολογικά δεδομένα και τα αποτελέσματα in vivo και in vitro μελετών, η αδιπονεκτίνη φαίνεται ότι διαδραματίζει προστατευτικό ρόλο στην ανάπτυξη ορισμένω\ τύπων καρκίνου, ιδιαίτερα σε μορφές καρκίνου που σχετίζονται με την παχυσαρκία.	el
heal.abstract	Adiponectin, is an adipose tissue-derived hormone, which is secreted only by mature adipocytes. Adiponectin consists a fundamental regulatory factor of metabolism, whereas is involved in molecular pathways that inhibit or suppress atherosclerosis, inflammation and cell proliferation. According to the existent epidemiological data and the results from in vitro and in vivo studies, adiponectin seems to play a protective role in the development of specific cancer types, especially in the obesity-related tumors.	en
