Power complementary lowpass and highpass functions are decomposed in lower order allpass functions. These functions are accordingly realised by active allpass sections which, in their turn, properly combined realise the original lowpass and highpass functions. The derived filters are of low sensitivity and characterized from high dynamic range and frequency response. An example is analytically presented.
