heal.abstract | We present a hybrid two step method for the solution of second order initial value problem. It costs only five function evaluations per step and attains sixth algebraic order. The coefficients depend on the frequency of the problem and satisfy zero dissipation and phase-fitted properties. So the method is well suited for facing problems with oscillatory solutions. Numerical tests justify our effort. | en |
