heal.abstract	Με αφορµή την έκθεση 7 κανονιών στο µεσαιωνικό φρούριο της Λάρνακας έγινε µια προσπάθεια γνωριµίας µε τα αντικείµενα,την κατάσταση διατήρησης τους και τη διατύπωση κάποιων σκέψεων για τη συντήρηση τους.Στην αρχή της εργασίας αυτής αντιµετωπίζονται θέµατα σύστασης και δοµής του υλικού κατασκευής (χυτοσίδηρος). Στη συνέχεια αναφέρονται εν συντοµία θέµατα διάβρωσης των µετάλλων και σε µεγαλύτερη έκταση θέµατα της τεχνολογίας κατασκευής των κανονιών.Εξετάζονται στη συνέχεια οι συνθήκες έκθεσης των κανονιών και η κατάσταση διατήρησης τους.Η εργασία κλείνει µε ορισµένα συµπεράσµατα και πρώτες προτάσεις συντήρησης του είδους αυτού των αντικειµένων.	el
heal.abstract	In the Medieval Fortress of Larnaca seven cannons made of cast iron are exhibited under harsh conditions. This work tries to give some guidelines for their protection. At the beginning subjects concerning the material (cast iron), its corrosion and the manufacture of cannons are discussed. In the last part the conditions and the state of preservation of the seven cannons are presented and some suggestions are formulated for their protection.	en
