heal.abstract	The recognition of various individual and social elements that influence the youth delinquency behaviour led the last decades the designers of social and public policies, to support the role of local community to the process of application and growth of prevention programs. evaluating reltive programs of prevention, as more effective tey presented those that involve the members of community in preventive and prticipative action in order to correspond the problem of juveline delinquency. Based on those, we planned and materialized, a research program on the subject; "the role of social worker on the field of youth crime prevention". The interest of particular reearch was focused in the role of social worker in participation and the possibilities of social services and institutions, for confrontation the phenomenon of youth crime. in the present work, are presented the central inquiring conclusions as well as a composition of proposals for the confrontation of problem.	el
