heal.abstract	In this research we investigate the performance of students from Lyceums of Athens. We compare the performance of students across schools, educational directions and courses. We use descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, analysis of variance, chi-square tests and independent samples t- tests. The sample size is 407 and the results will be the basis for a further investigation taking account of the socio-economic characteristics of the students. The statistical package that we use is SPSS-8 and Minitab 12.	en
