heal.abstract	Εισαγωγή: Η πρόσφατη δημοσιονομική κρίση και οι επιπτώσεις της στην κοινωνική και οικονομική ζωή, αναδεικνύουν τα προβλήματα λειτουργίας του υγειονομικού τομέα στη χώρα μας. Σκοπός: Η διερεύνηση των επιπτώσεων της οικονομικής κρίσης στην υγεία των πολιτών, η επίδραση της πολιτικής υγείας στην οικονομική και κοινωνική κατάσταση των πολιτών όπως επίσης η αναφορά των πολιτικών υγείας που προτείνονται τόσο σε εθνικό όσο και σε διεθνές επίπεδο. Υλικό και Μέθοδος: Η μεθοδολογία της παρούσης εργασίας περιελάμβανε την ανασκόπηση της ελληνικής και διεθνούς βιβλιογραφίας, κυρίως της τελευταίας πενταετίας εστιάζοντας κυρίως στις απόψεις ευρωπαϊκών και παγκόσμιων οργανισμών για την υγεία. Αποτελέσματα: Τεκμηριώνεται η συνάφεια μεταξύ της πολιτικής υγείας και της γενικότερης πολιτικής και οικονομικής κατάστασης μιας χώρας και αποδεικνύεται η ανάγκη για ανάδειξη των ζητημάτων υγείας ως ζητήματα πρώτης προτεραιότητας για τους πολίτες σε περίοδο οικονομικής κρίσης. Η παρούσα κρίση πλήττει δυσανάλογα τις χώρες χαμηλής και μέσης ανάπτυξης, αλλά και τα χαμηλότερα κοινωνικά στρώματα των χωρών. Η ανεργία, η ευπρόσβλητη εργασία και η ανασφάλεια έχουν σημαντική αρνητική επίδραση στην υγεία. Η οικονομική κρίση δημιουργεί επίσης προβλήματα στην χρηματοδότηση των συστημάτων υγείας και επιβαρύνει την λειτουργία των δημόσιων μονάδων παροχής υπηρεσιών υγείας, λόγω αυξημένης ζήτησης. Συμπεράσματα: Σε περίοδο οικονομικής κρίσης δεν πρέπει να γίνεται περικοπή των δαπανών στα ζητήματα υγείας διότι η περικοπή οδηγεί σε μειωμένη διαθεσιμότητα περίθαλψης και αυτή με τη σειρά της επιδρά άμεσα στα άτομα όσο στα συστήματα υγείας.	el
heal.abstract	Introduction: The recent financial crisis and its impact on social and economic life, highlight the functional problems of the health sector in our country. Aim: The exploration of the effects of the economic crisis in public health, the influence of health policy in economic and social state of citizens and reporting of health policy proposed for the current national and international level. Material and methods: The μmethodology of the present study included review of Greek and international literature mainly of the last five years focusing on the views of European and global healthrelated organizations about health. Results: It is documented the association between health policy and overall political and economic situation of a country and demonstrate the need for non-devaluation of health issues and their emergence as a prime priority that concerns the citizens in times of economic crisis. This crisis disproportionately affects low-and middle- growth countries and lower social strata within countries. The unemployment, vulnerable employment and insecurity have significant negative impact on health. The economic crisis also creates problems in the financing of health systems and impairs the function of the public health service units, due to increased demand. Conclusions: In times of economic crisis, cutting of spending on health issues should not be allowed as it leads to reduced availability of care and this in turn affects directly on both individuals and health systems.	en
