Good communication within a team depends on its leader’s administrative ability, whereas its effective function depends on the degree of fairness this leader exhibits in his dealings with those under him/her regarding their needs. It is a well-known fact that a working person’s craving for respect and recognition is best consolidated with the use of an efficient system of communication, participation and cooperation within the team. This study attempts to compile O.R. nursing staff views on an operating team and its leader, views that show pessimism and deep-seated doubt.
