heal.abstract	Introduction: The Lysosomal Storage Disorders Registries of Genzyme Corp. are very common between the hematologists and the other physicians who cure these kind of patients. All these internet programs can be used for statistical analysis based on their accumulated data. They also can be used as models for similar desktop applications because of their numerous questions and data fields which are going to be filled by their users. In Greece, a similar software was created by the hematology clinic of the third hospital of Hellenic Social Security Institute (SSI). Half of Greeks are insured in SSI which is the largest public insurance organization in the country. In Greece there are almost seventy Gaucher patients. Twenty five of them are insured in SSI. Twenty one of our Gaucher patients take enzyme replacement therapy. Purpose of our software: The purpose of our software is the watching of our patients’ therapy progress. The program concludes many of the Gaucher Registry fields. Additionally, it creates many diagrams, tables and statistical functions. Material - method: The database of our program is Access and the code is written in Access VBA. Many Visual Basic Active X Controls have also been included. All these software tools are products of Microsoft Corporation. Results-Conclusions: During the last three years our program helped us in a lot of many aspects of our daily work. Its ability to create diagrams of many different parameters together give us the chance to study simultaneously time-series of biomarkers, biochemical-hematology parameters and medicine doses. Qualitative data such as aspects of the patients quality life and diagnoses of MRI, DEXA, CT, RX examinations have also been included. All data can be transferred in common spreadsheets such as Excel, SPSS. This feature will help us to make many scientific reports in the future based on the statistical analysis of our qualitative and quantitative data.	en
