heal.abstract | Security has become a crucial issue in both communication systems and networks. PELICAN is a latest developed MAC function based on RIJNDAEL encryption algorithm. In this work two alternative architectures, for the efficient VLSI implementation of PELICAN, are proposed. Both architectures design aim to high optimization, regarding requested covered area.
